It's been hot as hell, most of the month so far 90+ with a string in the 100's...

It really hasn't bothered me - thats why we have air conditioning.....

Besides, I generally spend my recreational time after dark when it's cooler. That or on the lake fishing or in the water or on the boat.....

I suppose our summer started here at the end of March when we had a week + of 80 degree days and nothing less than 60 after that - maybe my heat tolerance has just gone up considering its been 5 months of abnormal temps...

When I was a kid - there were no restrictions on fireworks during the 4th ofJuly.

You could buy/sell firecrackers, Roman Candles, Skyrockets - perfectly legal. You could here them go off non-stop theweek priorto the 4th.

Then they were made ilegall under the safe-and-sane act - had to buy them on Indian reservations....

Illegal to have any more fun
