    Isn't Sharia law unconstitutional...?

According to Sharia law if one was to leave Islam they are aspostates and are to be killed...and there are plenty of other aspects of Sharia law that blatantly oppose the laws of the United States...so why should we allow Sharia law within our borders just because it is part of a religion....?

the religion is protected under the constitution. but if that religion violtes US law, then the state is not saying that a person can not practice that religion, they are saying that they have chosen to violate US laws. Laws always take precedent over religion. look at the child brides and polygamy. these are supposedly religious views, but they are not supported by US law.

Now if a man wants to practice Shariah law with him family, that is protected under the constitution. but hes used Shariah law as an excuse to commit a crime, for example: to kill his wife for committing adultery, he violates US law and can be punished accordingly. it all comes down to how it is practiced. that why there is the due process

Yet there are even judges in this country who don't have the common sense to put U.S. laws above some religious practices.....

What is wrong with a law that just states Sharia law is not recognized in U.S. courts....?

An Oklahoma constitutional amendment aimed at stopping the use of Islamic law in its courts

Now no law can discriminate against any religion in the US.

Want a law that says a judge can not use the laws of christianity in a court?
