The poor (and a lot of not poor too) buy from the gray or black market so no they don't pay a lot of sales taxes. They pay no income taxes but get a lot of federal money.

Yea I'm "conservative" but I think many of us are misguided in focusing on whether poor people pay income tax or not. They're still poor at the end of the day. That's as "fair" as that is going to probably get. What conservatives and people in general should be worried about is government leaches wanting to punish success.

I actually agree, and I don't want the poor to have to pay taxes they can not afford, But I also do not like seeing a group that is already paying more than their "Fair share" in the Country with the Most Progressive Tax System on earth, Constantly accused of not paying their "fair share"

Johnny Depp fleed the left's celestial France to avoid taxes. Will Smith balked at the idea of paying 70 percent taxes. The butcher doesn't cut your meat b/c he doesn't want you to starve. He wants his fair share. Your fair share is not what you get, but what you earn.
