In a final judgement issued Tuesday, Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett ruled that Conyers did not collect enough petition signatures to appear on the primary ballot, a major setback for the man who stands to be the longest serving member of Congress if reelected this year.​

He'll get a judge to declare the requirement unfair and have his name restored to the ballot. Dems who've been in their seats virtually "forever" have forgotten that they have to get on the ballot by some minimum number of signers in support. It appears that there were so many names of people who'd died or moved that Conyers no longer has sufficient numbers to legally nominate him as a candidate.

Actually, here in Indiana, both Hillary and Obama had so many fraudulent signatures to get them on the primary ballot that they weren't actually legal candidates in May of 2008. Even the signature of Indiana Governor Joe Kernsn was forged as a supporter as he stated in a court trial over the issue later.
