I read an article when a child with a congenital cardiac condition was denied care by BCBS of Texas, but finally got it ok'd. Many people were denied care prior to the ACA, and also do not forget about the lifetime limit cap.

They have been wanting to have the ability to get rid of the ACA for the past 5 years or so, and now that they have it, there is nothing to replace it with, as well as the fact that it is gonna be hard to repeal if 25 million people are going to lose healthcare.

If they repeal it, they lose votes because constituents will be pissed about losing their health insurance. False. By law, a hospital can not refuse care to anyone based on their ability to pay. I've had a pre-existing condition for 42 years. I've been employed full time for the last 37 of those years and I've never been without healthcare a single day.
