If you were going to strike, would you not do it when it was most effective?

Not sure I'd consider a paralyzing strike that would negatively affect thousands of people at a time when they're just trying to get to their families at a stressful time of year while the negative aspects of unions are being debated nationally would be considered "effective".

Yes, this is true, but there are two parties in these issues. This will certainly make the other side pay attention. Hopefully, it will be sorted out so that people do not suffer.

A strike should get the unions a lot of public sympathy.

Libs are such fools, real idiots. Then they sit around wondering why the public votes for right to work laws.

When one comes from the persepctive that it's all about me, then it's seen as being an effective method.

People look at union workers, who, after all is said and done, are making 45+ and hour going on strikes while they, those working for half that or less, are fighting just to keep their jobs. Jobs that are threatened due to a government who is so bloated and intent on gorging itself further, that it refuses to do what is necessary and instead want to play to a popular ideal that only compounds the problem.

Oh lookie...the scumbags of SEIU that blocked traffic at LAX last month trying to unionize the LAX workers have moved on like cock roaches to the east coast.

These scumbags realize they are unpopular and losing power, so they are trying every trick to gain new members to keep the union dues flowing to their criminal leaders.

Anyday is an effective day to strike at an airport. This particular day is just beyond stupid.
Unions need positive publicity not an angry public.
Dumb is dumb

When did "dumb" ever stop unions?

So lets see now.....
We have shutting down the airport during peak holiday travel. Destroying a poor brothers hotdog stand.
Annoying the crap out of an entire apartment building with crying baby recordings.
Punching a dude in the face. Cutting down a tent with a couple of old people under it.
Did I miss anything?
And these people expect our sympathy?
Anyone who supports these thugs are no better then they are.
