Yes, and as gas prices climb, the prices of consumer goods will climb. Also, something that's not being factored into most food price metrics is the shrinking of the amount of food in the package in order to make it appear the price per unit isn't going up.

The problem is that under Trump, they had permits to drill. Biden reversed those permits disallowing the drilling. The leases are there, but the permits are being denied. So, Biden's administration is lying but why doesn't Fox News and others bring out this fact that the oil companies are being denied the permits. Today, Governor Newsome and courts in California denied drilling off the shores of California. Who knows why because without the drilling, natural seepage will occur causing environmental problems. Also, this oil can help with making us energy independent and get back to controlling the prices of oil.

Hopefully, the American people will catch on that if they stick with the Democrats, inflation would increase exponentially.
