The senior adviser set up the account after the election. Other West Wing officials have also used private email accounts for official business.

Presidential son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has corresponded with other administration officials about White House matters through a private email account set up during the transition last December, part of a larger pattern of Trump administration aides using personal email accounts for government business.

Kushner uses his private account alongside his official White House email account, sometimes trading emails with senior White House officials, outside advisers and others about media coverage, event planning and other subjects, according to four people familiar with the correspondence. POLITICO has seen and verified about two dozen emails.

“Mr. Kushner uses his White House email address to conduct White House business,” Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Kushner, said in a statement Sunday. “Fewer than 100 emails from January through August were either sent to or returned by Mr. Kushner to colleagues in the White House from his personal email account. These usually forwarded news articles or political commentary and most often occurred when someone initiated the exchange by sending an email to his personal rather than his White House address.”

Aides who have exchanged emails with Kushner on his private account since President Donald Trump took office in January include former chief of staff Reince Priebus, former chief strategist Steve Bannon, National Economic Council director Gary Cohn, and spokesman Josh Raffel, according to emails described to or shown to POLITICO. In some cases, those White House officials have emailed Kushner’s account first, said people familiar with the messages.

Jared Kushner Discovered Using Private Email Server For White House Business

WAIT! . . . . WAIT! You mean little Jared Kushner has used a private email? Are you equating him with the SECRETARY OF STATE? WHAT White House business, WHEN? Maybe he was just ordering pizzas! We really ought to know.

I thought Barack Obama, Valery Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Rodham Clinton and the whole Democratic Party already ESTABLISHED last year this as perfectly acceptable, normal practice? If they are going to make a story of this, we will have to arraign Hillary on criminal charges after all.

OH WAIT, James Comey permitted all of the devices Hillary used to be destroyed.

TELL ME: Is there a single f---cking Democrat out there who HASN'T committed federal crimes?

So what is the concern, that Jared used a private email account but it was OK when Hillary did it? That's kind of like the Democrat's story in 2016 that our elections were locked up stone tight solid and it was laughable that anyone could even claim (Trump) that they might have been tampered with, that is, until after Hillary LOST. Now it is a matter of national import, with of course, Donald Trump himself as the person of concern. o_O

Never mind that millions of Hillary's votes came from non-citizens not even legal to vote.

From conservatives: hypocrisy, lies, and failed attempts to deflect.

Conservatives always forget, as does their Big Orange Führer, that Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice both used private Email accounts to do federal business when they were the Secretaries of State. It only became a NO-NO after Mrs. Clinton announced she would run for president in 2016.

You were correct in your assumptions.

Of course we won't know what the truth is until we have a formal investigation by the House committee that investigated Clinton, and I want 11 hours of testimony like Clinton gave, so we can get to the truth for the American people.

Not really. I believe government business should be conducted via government email accounts. Those who deviate should face severe consequences. With that said, Hillary broke the law like a mofo and she skated and all of you were thrilled that she did and you nominated her to be potus. And we're the hypocrites?

Let's just say that anyone that works for the federal government can use whatever email accounts they want through which to conduct official business and let's add that they can transmit top-secret information through Yahoo, Google, etc. Anything is ok.
