Ivanka says it is because she wants to devote more time to public policy. I have no doubt that Dirty Don would love to create a dynasty, but the real reason she may be closing down is that her brand is in the tank.

I also think this is a foretaste of what is to come of the entire Trump brand. The Trump name is toxic. The only thing keeping the Trump real estate empire afloat is the US taxpayer which has doled out tens of millions to Trump and his businesses in the form of payments every time he visits his properties.

Ivanka's brand is the latest to go, but like Trump steaks, Trump magazine, Trump airlines, Trump casinos, his golf courses and real estate businesses will be falling soon....as soon as the taxpayer stops subsidizing them.
