The French knew their role in Vietnam was a loser and left. The US stepped in with advisers and our involvement escalated.

The US adding advisers in Ukraine has obvious parallels to Vietnam. The Dems/ Socialists can't spend deficit money fast enough in their Ukraine flag waving frenzy. The Dems / Socialists love their foreign wars and Biden's weakness and appeasement to every totalitarian dictator and Mullocrat means the US involvement in foreign wars will continue.

The Department of Defense is considering upping the number of US military advisers stationed in Ukraine. Politico said, "The advisers would not be in a combat role, but rather would advise and support the Ukrainian government and military."

The US could win in the Ukraine within months if it decided to.

No reason to believe that.

Tell us how many troops and how much hardware would be required to win?

Give us an estimate as to how the US would perform in a direct combat role with a DIE addled military that is forced to recruit from a pool of the substandard?

The reality is that the Ukraine is 40 million people. How many soldiers do they have?

How many drones do they have? What has the US given them in technology and what hasn't it given them in technology?

The Russians aren't fighting very well. They're winning because it's a war of attrition.

The US could put way more troops on the ground. They would control the skies easily. The Russians aren't very good.

The Russians would shit themselves if the US got involved, hence why Russia has been "warning" the US not to get involved. China won't get involved. It can't afford to. Iran's got its own problems. Russia is alone.

It's spending loads of money on this war, and need to spend more and more. If the US came in and started pushing the Russian back, Russia would have to sue for peace or see everything collapse.

You sound like Moscow Margie

Isn’t going to happen

So, that's why the Dems /Socialists were waving Ukranian flags as they added another $60 Billion dollars to the deficit.

Ukraine is just another province of the US.

America’s borders extend across the Atlantic Ocean and deep into Eastern Europe, geographically challenged Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) asserted from the House floor Saturday before the House passed a $61 billion aid bill to Ukraine.

How may troops should the US put on the ground? How many US casualties will the US suffer?

All the 'shitting' you claim will grip the Russians were the same projections directed at the North Vietnamese.

How long will the occupation of Ukraine last?

Will it cost a single $Trillion dollars in deficit spending to defend the US province of Ukraine?

I think the Biden politburo needs to immediately send a DIE and rainbow mafia contingent to the new US province of Ukraine'istan to get them properly configured to US standards of equity.

We need to send the best of the best the Biden politburo can offer.

As said elswhere , Kyiv now needs 20 000 trained replacements every month just to hold their total number steady .

They have zero chance and the so called UAF have had US , French , Polish and British mercenaries involved but fighting as though they are responsible to private contractors .
With a consistent losing record

Drawing out the Ukraine war while supplying them with war materials is a win, win for the defense industry and the major stockholders. Spending the lives of a few U.S. military advisors is a small price to pay.

War is good for business.

That's different. The US could go in an defeat Russia in 2 months. It might lose casualties that the US is not prepared to lose. Mostly because when the US goes to war, after Vietnam, based on the Powell Doctrine, it makes sure it gets the people behind it. That's be difficult because people have had years to not get behind it.

Vietnam was a different situation to the Ukraine. Vietnam is jungle, it makes fighting very, very difficult, it reduces the impact of technology. The Ukraine doesn't have any jungle.

The US was willing to spend trillions in Iraq because it served its purpose. It got cheaper oil.

The Ukraine might also serve a purpose, but it's not necessarily easy to see. But with Ukraine in the western hemisphere there's a lot of food that can be sent to countries with a lot of oil.

Why do you think the Arab Spring happened? Because Russia and the Ukraine's exports dropped massively because of drought. All of a sudden countries from Tunisia to Egypt to Syria didn't have enough food. It destabilized the whole region.

You want cheaper oil, you need oil producing countries to be on your side. If Russia is producing more wheat and other such things and exporting a lot more than anyone else, countries are going to move towards Russia and China.

Smart people in the US govt will know this. Smart people who want the US to be at the top of the pile will realize that the Ukraine being in the west is actually very important and the money the US spends on the Ukraine might be money it won't spend on increased oil prices.

I'm curious to know where the logistics come from for the two month defeat of Russia?

Ukraine is not much different than Vietnam in terms of the military and political objectives announced by the US in the late1950's with Soviet and Chinese involvement with the Vietnamese. Yes, the terrain is very different but it puts Russia in the advantageous position of fighting a defensive war.

Will the US position carriers in the Adriatic Sea? The US would need overwhelming airpower to defeat the Russians in two months. That might imply air strikes on Russian soil to defeat their air force.

Ukraine isn't worth the time or money invested in it. The United States should be trying to broker a peace deal instead of beating the drums of war.
