You know, we need to teach gun safety along with fire safety in grade schools. Firemen could teach the NRA eddie eagle 4 steps of gun safety for kids very easily and it would actually be a real step to ending gun accidents with children.

What does the NRA program teach kids...if kids see an unattended gun...they are told to...

1)stop
2) do not touch the gun
3)leave the room
4)find a responsible adult

This basic safety instruction would help keep kids safe from gun accidents.

Why it won't ever happen...the anti-gun groups don't want kids to become comfortable around guns at any level...that would reduce the effect of their fear campaigns against guns. So, they would rather have guns accidents with children than teach gun safety in schools...tell me that isn't true...

I'm not old enough to have lived when kids used to bring their rifles,to school for hunting and the shooting team just old enough to live through this anti- gun silliness.
