So you've illustrated that Israeli politicians are as capable of saying stupid things as any other politicians. What's the point?

Before 2002 he was Chief of Staff of Army then became a politician and started saying stupid things.

    What's your point actually?

Not inaccurate and not illogical either. Keeping business relations is extremely important. Who cares if they don't like Israel, most countries doing business with them don't. The price of being Jewish!

Superpower in the Middle East? And who would be Turkey's competition in the Middle East? Other than Israel, that is. Which it doesn't hold a candle to. Ha ha ha.

There is only one superpower in the Middle East and that's the US. There is one dominant regional power and that's Israel. And there are several secondary regional powers of which Turkey is one (Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran are the most obvious others).

Exactly. So it's a meaningless label. Superpower of the Middle East. Wow. Not exactly competition when you consider Israel beat groups of these super powers. Today's military superiority is more about who has the latest cutting edge computerized space age weaponry rather than how many tanks and troops you have.
