Israel is one of the most negatively viewed countries in the world, an annual BBC global survey found.

Israel was the fourth most negatively viewed country, ranking just ahead of Pakistan, North Korea and Iran, according to the poll released Monday.

In answer to the question "Please tell me if you think each of the following countries is having a mainly positive or mainly negative influence in the world," 21 percent of people interviewed for the survey viewed Israel mostly positive, with 49 percent mostly negative. The rest were neutral or undecided.

The amount of dumbass idiots in the world is, indeed, staggering, but hardly any surprising.

Gilad Atzmon: The Penny Has Dropped
Ynet reported yesterday , that in a BBC global poll gauging attitudes towards various countries worldwide, Israel came pretty much at the bottom -- There were just three countries less popular than the Jewish State – Pakistan, North Korea and Iran.

The Israelis must find it hard to accept that their state is one of the least popular countries in the world. Seemingly, Zionism -- that presented itself as a promise to bring about a civilised and lovable Jewish state -- has totally failed.

In spite of relentless Hasbara efforts and the Jewish lobbies around the world, the penny has dropped -- People out there see Israel for what it is

Iran and Korea deserve the rating off course.
In case of Israel it stems from 'dumbass idiots' according to the Israeli in this thread.
Probably it's anti-semitism. Iran and Korea deserve the rating off course, the poll-ratings for them doesn't stem from 'dumbass idiots'.

Even Libya got a higher ranking then Israel.
Tells a lot about self-perception of the 'only democracy in Mid-East'.

According to the poll, greatest rejection of Israel comes from the Egyptian people.
With only 5% of the Egyptians taking part in the poll having a positive view of Israel.

For too long have the Egyptian people been deprived of their view being represented by their government.
