Further I guess in regards Canada you missed the part where in fact Sharia HAS been practiced in Muslim communities to include those parts not officially recognized yet by Canada.

Where in Canada is Sharia law practiced where it would ever take precedence over Canadian law other than to resolve disputes between Arabs much in the way a Bais Din is used in orthodox Jewish communities to resolve some of their disputes?
