We're becoming more
Hispanic 17% up from 12.3% in 2000.
More black 11.5% in 1980 to 12.6% today.
More Asian...Hell as of this year this is our fastest growing group.
Hispanics will be over 20% by 2020....
Actually, we are becoming more 'mixed'. All of these groups, by the second generation, are intermarrying with whites, and other groups. So you insult one group, you end up insulting several members of other groups. The GOP has, in the last few elections, been stereotyping too many of the groups, and offending all. Not the way to win elections. Instead of concentrating on issues that would unite the groups, and improve all of their chances, the GOP has been running divisive campaigns. Not wise at all in the present, and, especially, future demographics.
In order to win future elections, choose issues that unite. Don't stereotype. Work as hard for the working poor and middle class as the 1%. Realize that we are all Americans, and can that stupidity about 'Real Americans'. Or go the way of the Whigs.
