If you actually want to understand what is going on in the world the NY Times is not the place to find out. The Times has a filter. All news goes through that filter. It’s not just that articles, supposed news articles, are slanted. It is all the news items they do not cover, or cover cursorily and then bury. The NY Times journalistic dirty tricks have been known for decades, but with the Trump presidency they have upped the ante and their manipulation of the news has become more apparent to more people.

There is a new generation at the NY Times that is more radical and less subtle (like the Asian editor with a history of lurid anti-white, anti-male tweets, yet she was hired anyway). Their recklessness is making obvious what many have known — the NY Times has an agenda.

The saddest thing in American journalism has been the decline of the once mighty and respected New York Times.

For the last four years, it has kept financially afloat through its huge increase in digital subscriptions from Dems who needed their morning dose of comfort, viz., several articles daily on how horrible President Trump was.

Now that President Trump is out, that alleged "news"paper will try to keep its digital subscribers by detailing every possible angle of former President Trump's legal problems.

Even some Times employees have publicly or privately admitted that the paper is full of leftists who no longer report the news but their own personal views.

I would never lower myself to read it. And neither would anyone else who wants actual news -- IMHO.

Of course, it has never been the excellent paper that it claims to be.

Before World War II, it did not publicize the horrors of the Nazis because it did not want people to think that its coverage was affected by the owners' religious affiliation.

And at one point it even campaigned against gay people, which resulted in a police crackdown on gay bars and even the cops trying to get gays kicked out of their apartments.
