$12 trillion of the $14+ trillion in debt was run up by 3 GOP presidents, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II. The rest of the debt was run up by all the other presidents combined.

To be fair, BushI had to spend to fight a war, and Bush II had two wars to fight, all of this was supported by the Democrats also. It's also insane for Obammie to double down on the debt while knowing we have a debt issue.

You focus only on the later. Deep cuts in government spending will bring on another recession which further reduces revenue and increases the deficit. What is needed are intelligent spending cuts coupled with the elimination of tax breaks that send jobs overseas.
