Zone1 Is socialism dying abroad?....

Essential services should never be in private hands, the labour Government afterthe war did right to nationalise those industries, people died before the NHS because they couldn't afford a Doctor, that is not a civilised Country, when Thatcher came in she privatised anything that moved or i should say piratised, we now have a situation where foreign Countries own chunks of out energy, rail, water, and people are being ripped off to pay shareholders, and we have creeping privatisation of the health service, the only thing that matters to that scum is money.
Whats stopping you from moving to a socialist utopia or starting a socialist commune in whatever country you live in?

When you stop using all the niceties provided to you via capitalism you let me know.
I don't have a problem with what i call normal capitalism, but what we have is a extreme Capitalism where everything must be in private hands, i mean they even have private jails, what the hell is that all about? it isn't even Capitalism it's corporate Fascism.

No it is all you have because you are a fool

You support a dead and defeated pile of garbage

As I stated NO economist supports the ideasd of marx and your answer was to hold up drolling idtiost like Wolff as an argument

That proves my point correct

You like ALL socialists are the brainwashed zombie
Do u understand the Rules for this section of the usmb?

no personal attacks

But we're not seeing that Soup

We're seeing socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor , via subsidies

no way does the US hve "extreme capitalism"

except in the sense that large corporations appear to be able to get away with many many things that small companies cannot (pay less taxes overall, etc)

But there is already too much socialism in the US with all the gvt programs for everything under the sun... as if humans are too dumb to figure out how to survive w/o the help of Big Brother. Well, the sad and scary thing is that we have actually gotten to that point where maybe many people cannot! (or think they cannot, is more accurate...)

So socialism is right there at the door and socialism and communism are basically 2 sides of the same coin. If we don't get someone like Trump next time... I shudder to think-----------

Some people are confusing Socialism with Communism,
There is no confusion. People instinctively know there is virtually no difference. And as Lenin said.. something to the effect that

Socialism is desired so "we" can usher in communism...

wow... a lib with that handle name

I guess I haven't seen it all after all

:uhoh3:

or maybe there's some kind of sarcasm there ... ?
I'm not a liberal, they hate my guts. They call me a "fascist". I'm socially conservative, and politically I'm a National Socialist, minus the racism and white supremacy. American nationalist - socialist, who can define what a woman is and believes there are only two genders. I'm pro-life..etc.

Socialism is the process that leads to communism. As a socialist, I admit that. One can even define socialism as the early stage of communism, when capitalism is being socialized, from private to public ownership of the means of production. From market-based, for-profit mass production to non-profit, centrally planned, marketless mass production. I can explain why this is necessary and inevitable due to advanced automation and artificial intelligence. Marx predicted that one day, non-profit, democratically organized, and centrally planned mass production would be necessary, due to advanced technology.

Of course there is a difference, that's the problem many Americans don't know the difference they are brainwashed that way, democratic socialists like me believe in a mixed economy, i don't believe in the State owning everything down to my corner shop, some things should never be in private hands.

Virtually everything SHOULD be in private hands! That's because, in case u havent noticed, govt can't do anything efficiently or even half-ass cost effectively.

I see big holes in the road, yet taxes are high. The holes exist year after year after year and the taxes sometimes go up but nothing is done.

And those who are supposed to fill in the holes, if they ever do get around to it.. know they are paid by the hour so they mostly don't even care how many holes they fill in. "Is it lunchtime yet? I know we've only done 2 holes since 8 am but..."

You want THAT for America?

And I could tell bigger horror stories than that about how gummit does things/ doesn't do things

So you want my health in private hands for profit? some things should be for the benefit of society not to fill some bastards pocket with money, it's the measure of a civilised society.
