It's a made-in-Iran, "super advanced," radar "evading" military jet, prepared to unleash hell upon the regime's many enemies. "State-of-the-art technologies," Iran claimed! "Modern defense achievements," too! Only there's now one major problem: Aviation experts say this plane can't even fly.

The jet is so small it looks like the man is sitting in a clown car, er, clown fighter. It's seriously unlikely that such an aircraft has room to carry the avionics, radars, electronic countermeasures, heat masking gear, and, most importantly for a fighter, the weapons that make modern stealth jets effective.

It's going to be piloted by the same Monkey they shot into orbit... He's the smartest pilot they've got.

Gotta give the Iranians credit where it is due, they don't use deodorant so they want to get rid as many as they can before the stench over takes the country. Oh, stealth plane, they like Lucky Charms.

There's no way that fiberglass canopy is going to stand up to actual flight, nor does it have any of the required characteristics to make it invisible to RADAR.

So this is the country that it is important to constantly harrass and possibly invade, right?

You folks are something else.

Nuclear bomb technology is 60 yrs, Stealth fighter technology? nobody's gong to invade Iran no need

LOL, did they buy that on auction at eBay? I've seen movie props on sale there: that thing looks like it's from 'Battlestar Galactica' - the first one, ca 1980 or so.......

I've seen pictures... No way in hell that giant canopy, or tail sections are going to evade RADAR. They might as well have put wings on a school Bus where RADAR cross section is concerned.

Iran Stealth Fighter Jet Criticised: Qaher F313 Dominant F313: Photos

Fresh from controversy over a suspicious space-faring monkey, Iran is now under fire over a suspect stealth fighter jet breakthrough that one Australian defence analyst said "looks like it might make a noise and vibrate if you put 20 cents in".

Aviation experts have questioned whether the jet shown can even fly as it was too small to accommodate a real pilot and the controls and wiring looked too simple. It also lacked the bolts and rivets found on all aircraft and offered wonky aerodynamics.

"It looks like the Iranians dumped some rudimentary flight controls and an ejection seat into a shell moulded in what they thought were stealthy angles," wrote Foreign Policy.

Andrew Davies, senior defence analyst and director of research at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, said the jet was a "laughable fake".

"I can see (almost) how North Korea gets away with transparent nonsense due to isolation, but Iran has a population that's much more switched on and connected, at least in the cities.

"I guess a possible explanation is that it plays well in the provinces, where people aren't as savvy."

Iranian state television did not show the jet take off or land but did show pictures of it purportedly flying – although some suspected it was just a remote-controlled aircraft depicted. The country has reportedly struggled to upgrade its fleet since the 1980s due to tight sanctions.

That was a fake also! They had pictures of several different non-identical monkeys they say they shot into space, yet only one monkey was claimed to be on board. They only showed pictures of the monkey, but not one video or picture of the launch. Alamdouchebag who you crapin?

Well other than being impossible for the canopy to be fiberglass.
