International Monetary Fund to review US financial practices

Humiliation for Mr. Dollar: Ben Bernanke, the chairman of the United States Federal Reserve Bank, faces a general investigation by the International Monetary Fund. Just one more example of the Fed losing its power.

This is a first, having an international group of economists review US financial practices in an effort to help out.

Some say that having a dozen PhDs looking at our situation doesn't do squat to change anything. Other people see the move as an indication of a weakening US economy and presence in general.
