"You can't ask a young intelligence officer to violate the law and they're not going to."

Waterboarding, Interrogations: The CIA's $1,000 a Day Specialists - ABC News

As the secrets about the CIA's interrogation techniques continue to come out, there's new information about the frequency and severity of their use, contradicting an 2007 ABC News report, and a new focus on two private contractors who were apparently directing the brutal sessions that President Obama calls torture.

Bush was right - the CIA won't violate the law, but they'll hire "private contractors" to do it.

I believe him. Doesn't make him right or wrong but I feel that Bush gets a bad rap and I can see why conservatives are so passionate about his policies. Still doesn't make them right either.

You believe him because it's true. The CIA didn't torture those terrorists. "Private guns" funded by the federal government did. He may not have actually lied, but he misled. Kind of sounds like Clinton 10 years ago.
