OLV Basilica today.jpg

Besides my home church (Evangelical Baptist), and other like-faith churches I've been in, I've also visited Our Lady of Victory Basilica right in my area in Lackawanna, New York. This is a National Shrine and Msr. Nelson H. Baker is entombed here as well.

Can you vote for it, then? :)

As kids (UK), mother and father used to take us to different Cathedrals around the country. Not specifically for that reason, but if there was one in that city we were in/visiting, then dragged round that Cathedral it was.

A little history. Those twin bell towers didn't always have the matching copper domes. They were originally open work marble that stood an astounding 16 stories tall. A severe thunderstorm and ensuing lightning strike damaged the towers in 1940.
why did God allow this damage?
