Personally I would like to see Hunter stuck behind bars for a significant amount of time for the crimes he has committed. However I will probably find that when relatives sell a politician‘s influence it is highly unethical BUT it really isn’t technically illegal. The vast majority of gun deaths are domestic violence and suicides. A gun in the home is 43 times more likely to kill a household member than a bad guy.

I agree, the background checks are bullshit. A gun application should cost $1000 and there should be a thorough investigation. Don't just take Hunter's word. He doesn't have a drug problem; MAKE HIM PISS IN A CUP LIKE ANY EMPLOYER WOULD REQUIRE.
