If you think the Dems and media want to depose Trump

You are dead wrong. 100 percent wrong.

The Dems want President Trump to stay in office. Desperately. Why? Because the Dems don't want substantive policy changes made through legislation. And as long as President Trump is in office and the swirl of investigations/scandal is in place, DC is effectively paralyzed from passing legislation.

What's the best thing to do? Should we whine about the media? Should we whine about a witch hunt? Should we whine about Hillary (the most nonsensical thing to do, she's dead and buried, moved on)? No, we should pass substantive legislation on Tax Reform, Immigration Reform, Infrastructure, etc. THAT is the one thing that the Dems are trying to avoid. By falling into the trap of whining about sideshow issues, we actually HELP the Dems stall substantive changes.

The best revenge is to do what you want in legislation.

The same applies to the media. They want Trump in office to get people to watch their news. Clicks and views equals money, and President Trump is the best thing that ever happened to them. They too don't want substantive changes in legislation, they too just want the swirl.

So pass legislation and don't engage with the swirl. That's the best revenge. That's what the President should do while we essentially control THREE branches of government.

I disagree regarding the media. They are seriously pissed off at Trump because during the primary campaigning leading up to his candidacy and subsequently the general election campaign Trump repeatedly called them out as the biased partisan hacks they are. Whenever necessary he pulled back the curtain and exposed their hypocrisy, duplicity, etc., so now they are hell-bent on payback. It's balls to the walls in their fight to get rid of him because they mistakenly believe it'll somehow restore their credibility as journalists.

So I applaud and encourage them to continue their nonstop phony assaults against all things Trump. Since June of '15 they've attacked and attacked but have never laid a glove on the guy. Instead, voters with functioning brains have seen them for what they are and their actions are in part why he was able to get elected. They created a backlash they never saw coming and still don't get.

Sideshow. Falls right into what they want. When you make it into a contest of Trump v the media and pay attention to the balls and strikes, you are totally losing sight of the real deal, which is "is legislation getting enacted?" To declare a victory because the President tweeted is in my dim view totally shortsighted.

What legislation is being held up? It seems to me the hold-up is not with the powerless Dems, but the RINOs.

It's the media's objective I commented on.
Their objective is to make $$$. Clicks and views gets them that. President Trump = clicks and views. Scandal stories about President Trump = more clicks and views. Questions?

Never laid a glove on him??? Then why is he so desperate to shut down the investigation? Hiring a special counsel to represent him? Firing the FBI Director because of the "Russia thing"?

Why is his approval rating sitting at 27%?

Nonsense, the only thing holding the Democratic Party together is this onslaught of lies and rumors about the President. However annoying this is, none of it is holding up legislation. Republicans in Congress go to work each day seeking agreement with other Republicans on bills so they can become laws, while Democrats in Congress continue to yammer about how the sky is falling.

The Dems want the GOP to nuke the filibuster, well the 60 vote cloture rule.

Then they'll have'um right where they want'um!

No, not at all. You're entitled to be wrong.
I revel in my ability to be wrong. Indeed, it is my MO. But in this case, I'm right. Even the President of CNN has said the exact same thing in print. But I guess you know better than he.

You are dead wrong

Sorry, the Dems, the media, and the "GOP leadership" all want Trump out, because Trump and Sessions are about to "out" things they do not want "outed..."
Classic. I'm sure if President Trump wasn't President any more he would be reluctant to say what he thinks about the Dems secrets. Just like he was reluctant to speak out about where Obama was born, etc.

Hilarious. "US Wants to Compete for a World Expo Act" and similarly substantive laws. There was a lot of tension during the campaign about the World Expo.

The point is none of the noise the Democrats are making is slowing down the work of the government, it is just making the Democrats irrelevant to it.

I respectfully disagree. The White House is having to try to manage the investigations and trying to put MAJOR legislation in place (many of which I support) but the noise and investigations is limiting them to the "US Wants to Compete for a World Expo Act" which is exactly what the Dems want. Wake me up when they pass Obamacare repeal and especially tax reform or maybe infrastructure improvements. All three branches, get it done! That's the best way to handle the Dems, not your list of inane legislation as if we've really accomplished something.

The WH is not trying to manage the investigations. It is hard at work on turning the President's agenda into law. To do that major legislation has to be worked through Congress and that is being done. We will soon have a Senate repeal and replace bill and then the House and the Senate will negotiate a compromise bill; that's the process nearly all major pieces of legislation go through. Republicans in Congress will pass a tax reform act because they understand capital investment in the US depends on it and the consequences will be dire for them at the polls if they don't produce. It took the Democrats over a year to pass Obamacare and AHCA will pass in less time. Most of the legislation any Congress passes is what you are calling inane, but these uninteresting pieces of legislation are necessary to keep the country running.

Lot of future tense at use in your post. There was lots of future tense in the campaign too. Hope you're right, but thus far, I see the big hole in the bagel.

And believe me the WH is indeed trying to manage the investigations, it spends waaaaayyyyy too much time answering questions, consulting lawyers, yada yada yada than a focused WH would want to do.
