I'm always a little stunned when faced with the fact that so many people see things that way. It's amazing how many people even see the Constitution that way - as though the only freedoms it protects are those mentioned in the Bill of Rights.

I have to say, I'm not really sure there is any way back. We seemed to have reached critical mass - we have a population that wants to be led, wants to be herded and 'cared for' by the state. There's really only one way things are going to go from here. Time to start looking for new 'digs'.
