If Ontario gun control works so well, why are they spending 25 million more dollars on it?

We are told by anti gunners that Canada is doing it right...that their gun control works.......even as their gun crime rates go up in their cities....just like they have in Britain and Australia........

Now, they are going to spend 25 million dollars on more gun control efforts.....

Why? We are told they have it down.... that gun control works there.....right?

Ontario pegs $25m to fight gun violence

Ontario has pledged $25 million for police and to keep suspects behind bars while they await trial on gun crimes charges, as the Canadian province grapples with rising shootings involving domestically obtained weapons. For years, the primary source of guns used in Canadian crimes was the US, with weapons smuggled across the world’s longest unprotected border.

That has changed in recent years with licensed gun-owners buying firearms legally and then illegally re-selling them into criminal networks, current and former police officers, Crown prosecutors and gun sellers said.

And so..... they have all the gun control that anti gunners want.... and gun crime is going up....

Oh.... here is the solution..... they are going to designate..."Gun Free Cities." Well, that will work...........

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he would consider the idea and minister Bill Blair, tasked with tackling gun violence, said the government is considering giving provinces the power to designate gun-free cities.

“It’s possible that we could work with the provinces and territories and allow them the authority to designate certain municipalities as places where guns could not be purchased or possessed,” he said. — Reuters

I wonder..... will the "Gun Free City," designation also apply to the criminals who are using the guns?

I'm noticing TooTinyGuy is starting a lot of gun threads today... I'm wondering if there was a shooting yesterday he is trying to distract from.

It's like the bat signal going up.
