If both Trump and Pence get impeached - will Nancy Pelosi become president?

After all, the House Speaker is third in line for the presidency. What do you think?

If Trump were removed, Pence would immediately appoint a VP. Poor Nancy out of luck again. LMAO

.
And that's as it should be according to the Constitution.

Should Pence be implicated in some way, either he is replaced prior to Trump leaving in disgrace and that replacement becomes President or Pences appointed VP takes over.

That's how it went down with Nixon.

If Trump is run outta town, Pence should be impeached as an incompetent dupe.

It should not be allowed to have two successive incompetents in the office of POTUS.

No. Impeachment alone, does not remove the president from office. After all, that criminal scum Clinton was impeached, and he was not removed.

Now if they are both impeached and found guilty, and then removed from office, then yes Pelosi would be president.

Good luck with that, given they haven't find a single criminal act by the president yet.

Not that is not fair since Clinton was investigated for sexual behavior in the White House. which was NOT an impeachable offense.

Lying about it to a judge is. It’s called perjury.

Pence has some sort of involvement with Flynn and that whole mess...but whether there is something impeachable there I have no idea. You'd have to ask Mueller

Flynn was led to believe he was having a casual discussion and to throw around some BS. He was never told it was an official investigation, and furthermore it was advised by Comey he didn't need a lawyer present for that reason.

Now the judge in the case wants to see all records of this untold investigation and what was said.
Here's a clue...don't lie to the FBI.

But everyone in Trump's orbit DID.'

Odd huh?

Odd, none of those “lies” have anything to do with Russia collusion. You can lie to an FBI agent all you want provided it’s not an official investigation or interview.

Ray, Flynn knows better than to lie to the FBI, he was the head of a segment of our National Security for a while, he just had a brain fart... so to say.... he knew the FBI was investigating Russia and their influence, he also knew about the dossier which implied that the Trump campaign was meeting with the Russians constantly, because that came out a few weeks before he was interviewed, he certainly could put two and two together and know the FBI was investigating it all...

and he was told he could get a lawyer if he wanted one, but he didn't cuz he thought it was just a friendly conversation.... and it could have been a friendly conversation if he hadn't lied about his contact with the Russian Ambassador....

A lie, that he didn't have to tell about his contact with the Ambassador... he could have said he was discussing the sanctions on Russia, and during the transition period, it would have been understandable...

BUT HE CHOSE TO LIE ABOUT IT, and any sane person would have to ask, WHY DID HE LIE about it, unless he was trying to HIDE something nefarious, and lead the FBI down a wrong path???

It was a lie directly related to the FBI's Russia investigation.

Stop lying, they called Flynn to discuss a training session, and told him he didn't need a lawyer. Hell Comey even opened his mouth and said his entrapment scheme wouldn't have worked with any other administration. He counted on the week old administration not knowing how things should be done.

Don't be surprised if the judge set to sentence Flynn dismisses the charges. He has demanded all documents and notes related to Flynn's interview. This judge has a habit of not allowing prosecutorial misconduct to stand.

General Flynn’s Vindication Approaches : 18 December is Day One

How General Flynn’s Truth Became an FBI "Lie"

The Mueller plea deal with General Flynn, filed on 1 December, 2017, is explicit : it says that on 24 January 2017, Flynn lied to the FBI (Strzok) by saying that he had not talked with Ambassador Kislyak about possible sanctions relief, when in fact he had.

However, there is a complication. Prior to 1 December, 2017, Strzok and the other FBI agent had said the opposite - that Flynn had told them the truth. Even James Comey has admitted the same, to Congress. In other words, the General was open with the FBI that he had been communicating with Kislyak about possible sanctions relief, a normal and legal act by an NSA for an incoming administration.

So how does General Flynn telling the truth on 24 January, 2017 become him lying to the FBI on 1 December, 2017? Simple : the ‘facts’ underlying the communications were changed.

Someone, almost certainly Andrew McCabe and Peter Strzok, re-wrote the original late January 2017 FD 302, to falsely portray General Flynn as saying that he had not spoken with ambassador Kislyak. When was the 302 altered? Footnote 23 (my bold) of last night’s memorandum provides the answer:

But what about the Constitution and the "rule of law"?
Your side will have violated that by deposing a democratically elected President and Vice-President.

Sadly for you Russian trolls, impeachment is not "deposing" a democratically elected President. He was not democratically elected. He cheated, and he lied to get the office of the Presidency. And he colluded with Russian. That's treason.

The crimes being revealed are so heinous and serious, that Congress will have no choice but to impeach him, and the Republicans will have to go along with it because the evidence is just too strong.

After all, the House Speaker is third in line for the presidency. What do you think?

No, that is not what would happen you moron. Perhaps you should read the COTUS. If Trump is impeached he must also be convicted to be removed from office, and then the same for Pence.

If both were impeached and convicted then yes assuming Pelosi is the Speaker at the time, she would become President.

There is more of a chance that you become a member of MENSA than there is of both of these men being impeached and convicted though.

oh dear Lord, just completely filled with non truths...

comey never said Flynn did not lie... the IG report said the fbi said in their report that he showed no PHYSICAL SIGNS of lying... no sweaty palms or forehead, no excessive blinking.... those kind of things....

they DID NOT say he was not lying, they KNEW he was lying....and had evidence in hand to support he was lying

the president fired him because he lied to Pence and Priebus and they BOTH lied to the American public about it, while the Russian govt KNEW he was lying about it... putting him in a position of being compromised by them...

AND Flynn admitted to lying about sanction relief talks in his plea deal, UNDER OATH.

so pretty please stop with this ridiculous nonsense

You are not paying attention here:

"However, there is a complication. Prior to 1 December, 2017, Strzok and the other FBI agent had said the opposite - that Flynn had told them the truth. Even James Comey has admitted the same, to Congress."

It was talked about back in February:

Byron York: Comey told Congress FBI agents didn't think Michael Flynn lied

It is strange that Mueller no longer wants Flynn sentenced, this after many months of sentencing delays requested by none other than Mueller himself. You got to wonder why he kept delaying sentencing?

Robert Mueller Delays Flynn Sentencing, yet again, Until After The Election – November 28th…

At least FIVE sentencing delays now.

Then his strange sentencing memo:

Read special counsel Mueller's sentencing memo that recommends no jail time for Michael Flynn

No jail time recommended, this after he was charged in committing a FELONY.

Here is the latest example of Mueller's foot dragging over Flynn who was ALREADY judged GUILTY, yet he the overrated special counsel fails to comply with part of Judge Sullivan's request for Documents, the CRITICAL part Mueller didn't send. There is a reason why he kept delaying sentencing, but that is another issue Trump haters ignore.

Special Counsel Responds to Judge Sullivan Request for FBI Notes – Fails to Submit Agent Pientka January Interview Notes…

"The curious case against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn gets even more curious as Robert Mueller doesn’t deliver the FBI notes (FD-302) from the January 2017 interview of Flynn, as requested by Judge Emmet Sullivan, and instead submits notes from an internal July 19th, 2017, interview with FBI agent Peter Strzok."

Comey went on to acknowledge the way the interview was set up – not through the White House counsel’s office, but arranged directly with Flynn – was not standard practice. He called it “something I probably wouldn't have done or maybe gotten away with in a more … organized administration.”

Comey admits decision to send FBI agents to interview Flynn was not standard
