If A Law Protecting Citizens Is Not Working -

- say it is not being enforced, or is too weak, or our ubiquitous legal professionals find a loophole, or whatever, and the political authorities - elected civil servants all - for years and years have demonstrated that they are not prone to take action to change it, should the citizenry --

1) Sit on their hands, continue to be harmed and wait for something to maybe happen?

2) Take the matter into their own hands.

I have no current issue in mind. This is asked merely to determine attitudes.

We have had that to a great degree here in Arizona. Not with our law but the feds refusing to do their jobs. A lot of the issues we simply take into our own hands.
