US technology giant IBM said Tuesday it would hire 25,000 people in the country over the next four years, a day before President-elect Donald Trump meets with tech industry leaders.
"We are hiring because the nature of work is evolving -- and that is also why so many of these jobs remain hard to fill," Rometty said, noting that many industries were being reshaped by data science and cloud computing.

"Jobs are being created that demand new skills -- which in turn requires new approaches to education, training and recruiting," she said.

"This is not about white collar vs. blue collar jobs, but about the 'new collar' jobs that employers in many industries demand, but which remain largely unfilled."

Rometty is a member of Trump's Strategic and Policy Forum, a group of US business leaders focused on boosting economic growth and jobs.

Sure miketx and they can create database jobs, separating taxes and health care
enrollments for liberals who want singlepayer under federal mandates,
from conservatives who want free market choices without mandates.

I would like to see tax reform take this on.
Let liberals pay for education, health care and welfare with their taxes.
Let conservatives pay for military and defense, and VA reform with theirs.
Where these agree, they can allot taxes that pay for common programs.
And where they disagree, such as on rights to life, marriage, health care, etc.
they can fund their own policies and plans, and not interfere or impose on each other!

why not set up an "enrollment" system where parties can register their own
members and taxpayers who agree to fund and be under that representation
for health care and social benefits. So if you don't agree on "gay marriage"
or social welfare/benefits, you don't have to agree. You can choose which
PLATFORM you want to support and be under, and work with that party to
develop that democratically, where everyone has proportional taxation that represents
them, their interests priorities and beliefs. And these DO NOT have to agree!

Only on public policies that affect the entire state or entire nation
should citizens be required to agree.
but on private policies they can manage on their own, why not allow separation
as we do with religious groups and programs that citizens are free to choose and fund voluntarily?

Wait and see, these jobs will be filled by H-1Bs willing to work for shit wages. President Trump needs to kick those fuckers out of our country too.

You can bet more companies will hire with Trump as POTUS.

When the corporate tax rate goes to 15% it will be a big incentive for companies to use the money they have been sitting on for the eight years Douchebag has been in charge.

The economy will boom.
