I've been hearing this noise around my computer maybe every five minutes. It sounds like a drill but quieter. I was reading a thread this morning where someone suggested moving your cell away from the speaker.

I always plug my phone in and lay it on the desk. I moved the phone away and voilà! Noise gone!

I forgot where I read it so I just slid it in here as general info.
