I am starting to get worried about Trump's reelection chances...

...but not because Biden might beat him. I think Biden is dead meat, and the DNC knows that more people would vote against him than for him. That is why they have suspended their primary campaigns in order to have a free hand at naming his successor at their convention (or even afterwards).

The new strategy will be to start comparing Trump TO Biden rather than WITH him. That way, Trump's age and occasional slip-ups will be used to argue that NEITHER of them will be fit enough to serve for the next four years. After the GOP nominates Trump, Biden will announce that he is NOT running due to age-related reasons (and neither should Trump), even though he could still "beat Trump again" if he wanted to.

This will allow the DNC to replace Biden with a younger "moderate" candidate to run against an "aging" Trump. This new candidate will even promise to pardon Trump from his past transgressions in the name of national unity and reconciliation. And the sheeple will bleat their approval.

The best way for Trump to guard against this eventuality is to pick a VP running mate who could credibly serve as President if need be. In this scenario, the Governor of a large state might be the best bet.

It's diabolical I tell you!

I heard a conspiracy theory on a local talk radio station that may actually be true.
The theory is as follows. The Dem king makers actually want Trump to win the nomination and officially be nominated at the July Republican convention after he has been convicted of at least one of the criminal charges against him. Then Biden will be pressured to drop out of the race to be replaced by a more popular democrat.
Trump is probably good for beating Biden if they are both on the tickets. There is enough TDS that Trump will be defeated by a younger Dem candidate that isn't suffering from dementia (and is not Kamala Harris).

Biden will easily beat him.
