Why am I here? Sick and tired of reading the inanity at The Straight Dope, mainly. I had heard rumors and whispers of a message board with a more sensible attitude and posters.
Is this the Promised Land?
15-year veteran high school teacher in Glendale, Arizona...part of a secret cabal of conservative staff at the school who only acknowledge each other with knowing nods lest the NEA zombies catch on to our brain matter (i.e., that we have some).
It's been a rough couple weeks.
Anyway, getting my toes wet, getting the lay of the land. Looking forward to seeing the sights.
