Here we have a list of repeat gun offenders........guys with felonies who cannot legally buy, own or carry guns, who have been arrested owning and carrying guns......
This is the problem with gun crime in the United States...if they were in Japan, they would be in jail for 15 years, minimum, for simple possession as a criminal.......now, they will be back on the street, with most likely less than 3 years, if not less, and they will be out on bond, likely shooting their enemies.....
If you anti gunners were serious about actual gun crime....and not fixated on law abiding gun owners, you would fight to keep these guys locked up for 30-life.....that is how you would put an end to gun murder....
anything else is simply step by step gun banning for people who don't use guns for crime...
Police: Ex-con arrested again for illegal firearm in Brockton
One of the final gun arrests of 2017 was made in Brockton on Saturday, according to Brockton police.
BROCKTON – A 32-year-old Brockton man was arrested on charges that he was illegally carrying a firearm on Saturday, according to Brockton police.
Kayvon Ashton, 32, of 150 Cherry St., Brockton, was arrested and charged with one count of unlawful carrying of a firearm (second offense) and unlawful possession of ammunition. Ashton, who has a previous firearms conviction on his record, was also charged on an outstanding warrant, Brockton police said.
Brockton police Lt. Paul Bonanca said Brockton detectives were conducting “crime suppression patrols” throughout the city of Brockton on Saturday morning, working undercover doing surveillance, when they saw Ashton standing outside a property on Woodard Avenue.
“Ashton was known to police and detectives knew Ashton had an outstanding warrant,” said Bonanca, in a statement about the arrest. “A gray Toyota had pulled up and picked up Ashton. Undercover detectives followed the gray Toyota.”
Put this thug in prison for 30 years...and you get 30 years where he will not murder an innocent person with a gun....and it will send a message to the smarter criminals...use or carry a gun illegally, and you go to prison for 30 years.....
That is how they stopped the Yakuza in Japan from shooting each other.....we need to do it here....
