There is always a poppy story outrage for the right.
This year its hit a new low alleging that volunteers selling poppies are being attacked in the streets. A shocking tale and of concern to those of us whose 80 year old mother is a volunteer.
The problem is that nobody has been attacked.
That hasnt stopped the evil right wing politicians from weighing in on this.
Its like working people cannot have anything decent and honourable without the cancer of conservatism soiling it.
The easy way to check out their lies is to ask for proof. As we see in this article there isnt any.. The right would have nothing to say if it didnt have its lies.
The UK is not like the US where veterans are branded "losers and suckers"by leading extreme right politicians. We tend to support the armed forces and honour the fallen. The right wing press is an outlier when it comes to common decency.

Have you read the Guardian ever ......Ive seen many fact free stories in the American media. Another issue is that they also report the UK news to credulous low info americans. They get away with a lot because they know that their readership is stupid.
