Strange, Sanders has been in Congress fr over 20 years. Why hasn't he grown richer like the rest of the long termers such as Reid?

$528,000 is a rather low net worth for a US Senator. Compared with Mitch McConnell's 2012 net worth of $22,841,000, he's a piker! And what does net worth have to do a person's annual donations? It's not about net worth. It's about someone that advocates a policy of taking from one group to redistribute to another showing he's doing his part on a voluntary basis. Someone that say I should be required to do something better damn well be doing himself first or STFU about me doing it.
