Ireland, Scotland, France (ten times), Belgium (six times, though mainly passing through), Holland (three times), Germany (six times), Italy (four times), Switzerland (twice), Austria (twice), Spain, Portugal (twice), Moldova, Turkey (twice), Jordan, Egypt, UAE, United States (twelve times) and the Bahamas.

Amsterdam, Germany, France, Canada, UAE, Egypt, the gaza strip(not a country)

I liked the gaza strip because the aurora is nice something about it is special and the weather is really nice

I know the coast north of Gaza, and that is stunning, really beautiful. Would like to go to Gaza some day...but maybe not right now!

Moldova is one we don't hear mentioned too often - I liked it a lot! It is a bit like being in 1955, but Chiisinau is really charming.

Iceland and South Korea are neat places. I can't cotton to Sweden, probably they are so secular in outlook toward everything there. They are as obnoxious on their secularism as American is about its religiosity. My opinion only. I loved going to Mexico but won't anymore.

Sweden is very secular, and also very intellectual. It can seem very aloof to tourists, but is actually warmer and more open socially than Norway or Finland. you just need to know people.

I agree about Mexico...not on my list these days, but alway loved being there before.

...and what is your favourite travel destination?

Do you have any mode other than 'Pretentious Douche'?

we've had these threads before. how is it pretentious? if you don't want to participate, you shouldn't.

He needed an opportunity to insult someone. It is what he does.

To answer the question, I have never been outside of Australia. I would love to travel to the Netherlands, though. That is number one on my holiday list!

Come to Australia some time! :)

That is so unusual for Australians - I always think of Ozis as being such great travellers - especially to Asia because it is so close for you.

I come to Autralia quite often, and there is certainly plenty to see there. I love Sydney and Melbourne in particular...Brisbane and Adelaide not so much!

Yeah, I'm sure that is true - but I did get into the Syrian Golan Military Zone with an armed escort!

Sometime if you ask nicely and have a "good" reason, you can go anywhere.

Lol that won't work in gaza especially now you need an I'd, but if u get papers from the palestinians it could work

Let's see if I can remember them all... Canada, Mexico, Panama, Cuba, England, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Kuiwait, Canary Islands... I can't remember them all. Been to a shit load of them though.

...and what is your favourite travel destination?

England, France/North and South, Greece, Sardinia, Italy (same country, but WAY different), Spain, Scotland, Israel, Egypt.

Greece is the best place for the young and horny.
England and Israel for all the cool historic stuff.
Egypt, yuck. It would take a LOT of money and property to get me to go back to that shithole.

forgot Mexico.

I love Egypt and Israel both...but Egypt isn't the easiest destinaton. And of course, there is some luck involved in how trips go. But I have only had good experiences in Egypt.

Sardinia I haven't been to - I have always thought it looked great.

That' a decent list, to be sure...although the Canaries are a part of Spain!

Sardinia is a place for adults to relax. They have good wine and is where most of the worlds cork comes from.

I went to Alexandria, I watched as the beautiful blue of the Med gave way to the muck brown of the bay.

Except for the obvious tourist spots, it's a disgusting crap hole.

Alex isn't an easy city...it isn't really a place many tourists go. I can understand you not liking it.

But then the Western Desert is just stunning, Cairo is sprawling and amazing, and much of the Sinai starkly beautiful.

And hitorically....I'd rate it amongst my Top 10 Must See Countries for Memphis and Saqqara alone!

I can't remember all the countries to which I have been, but Ireland was my favorite.

.

England, France, Italy, Portugal, Kenya, Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Canada, Morocco, Egypt been inside the pyramids, Greece, Denmark, Netherlands, America, I'm probably forgetting some. But I used to travel a lot.

America is my favorite.

Egypt smelled awful. The men were disgraceful and grabby and one tried to buy me for 16 camels. Lol. That's my camel story.

Once we got into the wilderness it was beautiful. I saw so many dead Wildebeests, eaten by lions. But besides that it was beautiful.
