It's Election Night.... November 4, 2008
President Elect Obama says to his two daughters, "you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House."
I was never able to figure out what his daughters did, during the campaign, to earn the new puppy, but whatever.... The puppy certainly didn't "come with us to the WH".
It's now Easter weekend, April 11th to be exact, and no puppy is anywhere to be found. You suppose his daughters are saying, "Dad, you promised."? That is, if they can get a minute of his time....
I wonder if they'll realize, a few years from now that we've said "You promised."
