When Obamacare was passed, we were told by him it would cost 940 billion and everyone can keep the coverage and the provider they have now. Now we find out from the latest report by the CBO that the cost is almost double, 1.76 trillion, and is expected to exceed 2 trillion when next year's estimate covers the whole ten year span from 2013 - 2023. 'Course, that's after the election, so what does Obama care about the truth then? And frankly, I think they fudged the numbers, like they always do (both sides). I'm thinking in reality it'll exceed 3 trillion if no changes to the law are made. And the part about keeping your current coverage? The CBO also estimates that between 3 and 5 million people covered now will lose their coverage or give it up for being too expensive. And as a result end up on Medicaid or subsidized in whole or part by the gov't. Oh, and by the way, you do know that the new estimate for the 2012 deficit went up to 1.2 trillion, right? I thought Obama was going to cut the deficit, he said he would but then he said a lot of things. So tell me, how do you like being lied to?
