How come the leader of the world will not be there?

Only Americans think Obama, or any president we have, is the leader of the free world.

I copied this from the previous post, "Every American President going back for 100 years has been referred to as "The Leader of the Free World". It is not an elected office, it an honorary title." and would like to add this. Until Obama decided to abdicate the honorary title.
ONLY AMERICANS think the president of the US is the leader of the free world.

Only Americans think Obama, or any president we have, is the leader of the free world.

Well we know at least one American that doesn't think the President is the leader of the free world and that is Barack Hussein Obama, the sorry bastard.

He doesn't want that part of the job because it is too hard for him, like almost everything else.

She lived on her terms. I'd rather die broke than profit being an ass licker like you.
The hell she did. She lived like a nut, she tried to ruin the careers of people she fell out with, she tried to steal another woman's husband, she had an abortion, and she ended her life as a crazy old broad wandering the streets in her housecoat while living off of Social Security and using Medicare.

I own my companies, pay my bills, and don't live in the fucking fantasy world she built that you adore. She justified being a selfish infant as being moral and it is nothing of the kind. She was a nutjob, and so are those who treat her like a little god.

You're the guy who still defends Obama. I'm sure you're right on.
I am, go look it up instead of being a pussy with his fingers in his ears.

And that photo-op Obama missed in Paris, they weren't in the fucking march, and a bunch of the people who came don't have Freedom of Speech in the nations they lead. BFD on Obama not going.
He has admitted through his spokesman that he should have sent a higher priority rep to be there.
Who the fuck cares? They are taking heat so they are deflecting. The truth is no one needed to be sent and those that did go did nothing more than a fucking photo-op.
The White House disagrees with you. Perhaps you can throw one of your tantrums for them today.

The whole rally was a waste of time.

I'm fine with not having to foot the bill for millions of dollars to travel to a pointless gathering.
Interesting comment.....the whole rally was a waste of time

Curious.....

....what makes a rally a waste of time?

It will result in nothing being done.

It's the political equivalent of singing kum ba ya around a campfire

It's about as useful as all those idiotic "raise awareness" stunts like wearing pink shoes or not shaving for a month

Isn't it amazing that someone with the name of Hussein would refuse to use the term Muslim Terrorists?

Why would any American be stupid enough to for an American President with then name of Hussein? Dumbshits!

You really don't know the answer to your own question, no do you?

The ignorance is just astounding but if he went, they'd bitch about spending the money or that he wasn't paying enough attention here or that he travels too much or ...

Anything except the real reason.

Apparently it has turned out to be a major security nightmare.....Sending the leader of the free world into a small geographical area still under heavy surveillance and investigation for associated terrorist assassins. Sort of a no-brainer, actually.
He has admitted he should have sent a higher priority rep to Paris. IOW, he made a mistake in not doing so.
OK.

How come the leader of the world will not be there?
He would have snarled traffic and caused far too many security concerns. He's a fucking rock star. It's not like Benji Nut-n-yahoo, who showed up uninvited.
lol. It was the 3-4 million people who snarled traffic. A couple of hundred more wouldn't have made much difference.

Try cross-town traffic in Manhattan when ANY POTUS has been in town.
Silly argument. He has admitted he made a mistake. I think we all can now admit he made a mistake, too.
I actually believe the mistake was Holder's. He was there for a security conference and should have re-arranged his meetings to be on the street.

And he didn't mainly because Eric Holder isn't a politician. He lacks those skills, and sometimes it shows in his actions and what he says.

Personally, I don't want a highly political Attorney General, and 'conservatives' claim they don't either. Well, with that you get the occasional political faux pas*.

As I recall the boss at Charlie hebdo said he would rather die on his feet than live on his knees...I guess or president comes to a different conclusion.
From the guy who just thanked a racist post. #FellowTravelers

Perhaps.
So that being said....do you believe that such was the reason that the White House instructed Holder to NOT attend and instead come home?

If he went, you'd be bitching about the expense and why he went to "socialist" France. He can't win.
Au contraire*.

He has already won, BIG TIME! He has reduced his critics to bitching about optics, because he has beaten them soundly on substance.

*Speaking French, in solidarity.

Being probably THE most political AG the US has ever had aside, his spokespeople tell a different story. He had a busy schedule and had to get back to Washington.

I'm realizing that you're just a dumbfuck.

Alberto Gonzalez had to resign as Bush's AG because of his political scandal!

Edwin Meese produced a Report on Pornography to cement political ties with the Moral Majority.

I realize you're someone's sock, but you're quickly showing yourself to be just plain dumb.

Most? Not even close.

Obama's Paris snub wasn't an oversight

The uproar over whether President Obama or another top administration official should have attended the massive unity rally in Paris has obscured an important point about the White House's reaction to the latest terror attacks in Europe. The administration no-shows were not a failure of optics, or a diplomatic misstep, but were instead the logical result of the president's years-long effort to downgrade the threat of terrorism and move on to other things.

"The analogy we use around [the White House] sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a JV team puts on Lakers uniforms, that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant," Obama told the New Yorker magazine in a January 2014 interview. The president was referring to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria but was also suggesting in a broader sense that a number of post-9/11 offshoot terrorist organizations aren't worth the sort of war-footing mobilization that took place in the George W. Bush years.

Ah. Eric Holder is completely apolitical. His spokesman said he was busy that day.

Charges of racism are so 20th century dahling...we are in the era of shades of brown...doncha know?
Racism is racism, no matter how much you try to move the goalposts.

And he was. But he should have re-arranged his schedule.

Didn't I just say that?
