How badly did the US damage the environment when the Nord Stream pipelines were blown up?

Is it methane?

Yes and no. It's part of natural gas... Lighter than air. See swamp gas. At sea it dissipates into the atmosphere. It doesn't stay in the water. I'm no chemist.. someone else should explain it.

 
TNT has been used as an explosive for 120 years. Why would we need to give it to anyone?
It's not a secret formula.
500 kg per blast quantities are far more rare than 5kg quantities. Money is the same way. Other countries have money, it is no secret formula either. We give money to other countries though.

TNT is used extensively by the military as well as mining, and demolition - there is no shortage of it anywhere in the industrialized world.

What does that even mean? It's a common explosive. It's not exclusive to the US.
