Pelosi and Cuomo, as the right wing of the Ds have been busy shooting themselves in the foot while the left of the party is going kamikaze. If the Rs manage to limit their own self-destructive tendencies and do not interfere with the self destruction going on in the Ds, a huge if, this could be a mid-term for the record books. Given the usual screw ups it still likely that they will end up with a decent increase in the senate and hang on by their fingernails in the house.
