House to pass bill with tax on Millionaires and Billionaires

.... and it is up to Reid and Obama if they wish to veto and stick the working class with the 'largest tax increase in American history.'

Well played!

"Plan B" is a joke -- it's political theater. And pathetically transparent.

You're just too dumb to see it.

Bonehead is going to get slammed in the Op-eds on Sunday.

2014 - we dump the tea down the toilet.

we may be looking at boners carreer death

what will happen if boner cant get his minions to vote for it?

Obama's unwillingness to compromise will cause taxes to go up on everyone. Which is what is going to happen if the Speaker does get the House to pass it since the Democrats in the Senate are planning to shut it down.

It will be an interesting vote.

Will Tea Party types be allowed to vote NO, and the Democrats in the House actually carry the vote to tax the millionaires and billiionares they hate, or not?

Considering "Plan B" is Pelosi's plan she proposed several months ago, if Democrats vote against it, then they clearly werent serious about it.

Im surprised you'd admit that Pelosi's plan is a joke.

why would the dems vote for something to help boner?

Because it's their plan. Pelosi came up with it. Senate Democrats proposed it months ago as well. The Speaker is conceding the issue. Which is incredibly stupid, but he is, just as predicted.

Why wouldn't they vote for it? Unless, of course, they never had intentions to stop us from going off a fiscal cliff. Which is likely the case.

What's in the tea? Stupid juice.

If Fox new told you suckin' dicks would make you live forever, you'd be out on the boulevard in short-shorts in 30 seconds.

Here are two that were for it before they were against it.

"It would be much better to raise the limit to a million dollars," Schumer said on CBS's Face the Nation in 2010. "We have a big deficit problem. We have a big jobs problem. And I think that’s a good compromise."
In May of this year, Pelosi wrote a letter to Boehner endorsing the plan of extending tax rates for those earning less than $1 million. "Democrats believe that tax cuts for those earning over a million dollars a year should expire and that we should use the resulting revenues to pay down the deficit," Pelosi wrote.

Exactly. Those that want to stick it to the rich are completely missing the big picture. It distracts from the real issue that our government has a spending problem.

No, the government does not have a spending problem. It spends the bare minimum. That is why Republicans refuse to specify what programs they propose to cut, and how exactly.

You are living in la la land if you believe our government doesn't waste anything and only spends what it absolutely must. That defies logic and human nature.

I'm not saying that there is absolutely no waste. 10 millions here, 100 millions there -- but those numbers represent a tiny fraction of the total spending. And I haven't seen an evidence of wasted billions.

When you consistently spend more than what you take in that is called living beyond your means.

Government is not a household -- it increase its revenues at will.

Really? How the hell much is too much if 16 trillion dollars isn't too much debt?

Japan is 13 trillion in debt, while having the economy three times smaller than the US and a shrinking population. Still, it borrows at lower rate than the US.

If it is any indication, we can easily handle 40 trillion in debt.

So you're telling me if you consistently spend almost twice what you make and as a result now owe SEVEN TIMES what you make in an entire year you don't have a debt problem?

First, the government does not spend twice its revenue. Trillion+ dollar deficits started with recession of 2008, but they are coming down as the economy recovers. As for the total debt, see above.

Haven't seen details, but I would imagine the only way to get Tea Party signoff is to put in extraordinary domestic spending cuts.

So Reid and Obama kill it, the cliff comes, and Boehner is able to demonstrate they passed a delay-the-inevitable bill which taxes the greedy rich.

By 'well played' I was referring to the blame shift.

But then again, we are just yoyos posting on a message board so I really don't know how it plays out.

LMAO. The only people that think it will be Obama's fault (over the cliff) are people like you. And you wouldn't have thought anything different other than it's all Obama fault.

Whoop do shit.

The majority of Americns will rightfully think it is the Repthugs fault. Cause it will be.

You mean the ones paying attention? Of course the ones paying attention would realize that Obama is the one responsible for taking us over the cliff. He's the one who set up the cliff. He is the one refusing to make a deal to prevent it. He's the one who sees nothing but benefits by doing so.

So you are in denial or dont realize it's Pelosi's plan? Even Pelosi has acknowledged that the GOP is proposing her plan. So why don't you? Hmmmm

It sounds like you believe that all we have to do is turn on the ole printing press and print out the dollars we need.

Yes. And if you knew more about how the economy works, you would see why.

No one who knows how the economy works suggests that printing money is a good or wise idea. Printing money without restraint has never lead to good things. Look up hyper-inflation and you will understand better why it's bad.

Wow 9 pages about a DOA bill.

On a funny note did anyone see that democrat congressman get schooled on closing bell? She kept asking will you get rid of this deduction? Or this one? This one? Is there anything you will put oin the table to change?

No.

Then you guys need to step down and let someone in who will actually do the job.

All the radio reports I get during the day are updates on the revenue side of this.
I have yet to hear what is on the table regarding what the Democrats have offered as
spending cuts....

Maybe because there aren't any?

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Government always prints more and more money just to keep up with growing production.

And when the economy is in a depressed state (as it is currently), printing trillions more has zero effect on inflation. Basically it means we are not going to see a rise in inflation, or in interest rates until the economy fully recovers.

That would be you if you don't think our government has a spending problem. if it was your household are you telling me having accuumulated debt 7 times what you take in a year and spending almost twice as much as you take in each year doesn't constitute a spending problem?
