Holder Loses in the Carolinas—Again

You're in favor of illegal voting. Big surprise.
Not at all, and it hardly happens.

It happens a handful of times.

What happens, by the THOUSANDS, is that voters are sent home without voting, because the poll closed.

That's completely unconstitutional and unacceptable.

they did a percentage on voters fraud the percentage of votes that were counted that was considered illegal it was .000000000032 percent ... again what are republicans afraid of I would say they are afraid of losing... so if they don't try to stop the voters from voting, they know they won't win ...and they know it

What does eliminating same day registration accomplish?
It keeps young voters from voting, and they don't vote for the GOP in large numbers, ergo...
They're not going to vote anyway. Anybody who thinks that they're going to rally around a hag like Hillary or a tired mantra like Hope & Change is delusional.

here is why republicans like this one ares commie ... in case you missed it thats one of the reason Obama won both times... early voting ... same day registering to vote ....voting on the week end, it killed the republican vote commies like you pretend that you don't know this ... it kills your type to see them voting on the week end, early voting, and same day registering vote .... that hag you called hillary will get elected along with senaters and house members and you can't stand that thought...

We'll see, but either way, it will soon not help you at all since whitey is dying and the party of whitey with it...

Are you admitting there is no voter suppression?

Nope, since that isn't true but the whole issue is going away since younger people have photo ID and voter suppression wouldn't help you win for long anyway. If you guys would grow up, you'd issue a National ID like other western nations, which is fine by me. Then you can ask for it. Problem solved, but not for you, since you still won't have the vote necessary to win national elections.

OK, so you admit that minorities have been voting in larger numbers since legislation to fight voter fraud was enacted.
So are Republicans so incompetent that their measures to suppress minority voting have resulted in the opposite? Or do you have some other version of reality you'd like to pitch?

That is a definite possibility. But regardless of how many of which race vote, as a percentage of the population, there are still people who don't have the kinds of ID necessary to vote, which is still a serious issue, it's just one that will eventually resolve itself.

I like your stat. It tells us that there are just over three fraudulent votes out of 100 billion. I am sure you and your source are just as believable.

Where the fuck do you get this stuff?

There are people who haven't filed income taxes although they have to. So what? Get off the stick and go get ID if you want to vote. It isn't hard.

You would think that the last thing self-proclaimed liberty loving conservatives would want to do is to make it harder for people to vote.

I think when you hear conservatives try to spout their constitutionalist, liberty loving, inalienable rights loving credentials by going on about how much we need to pay attention to what the founding fathers wanted,

you should remind yourself that the founders wanted only an elite minority to have the vote.

That appears more and more to be what conservatives dream of.

You argue from a lie. Being honest and upfront is not hard. It is not harder to have an id. it is not harder to not vote more then once. The lie that it is harder to actually prove who you are is a construct of those who benefit from cheating.

heres what your conservatives have done with the new laws in North carolina ... lets say that we all agree voters Id is required .... we will accept that conclusion.... that everyone must have a voter's ID ... so tell us this here why did the republicans also shut down early voting??? why did the republicans shut down voting on the week ends ,,, can you explain to us how that is causing cheating ???? can you tell us why voting early and on the week end is cheating ... because this is what the voters law has done .... what are you republicans afraid of if a person votes early ... can you tell us why are republicans afraid to let voters vote on the week end????

This is why North Carolina is totally fucked:

""""Wealthy retail magnate Art Pope, who stepped down as North Carolina’s state budget director, has helped reshape North Carolina politics by creating and financing a network of conservative groups that buttressed GOP efforts to take on the long-dominant Democratic establishment. Along the way, he has played key roles in state government as a four-term state legislator and now as budget director for Gov. Pat McCrory, the first Republican to lead the state in two decades.""

This asshole got anti-abortion legislation attached to a bill about motorcycle rider laws. That's how it passed.

Of all the corruption we see in this government. With all the corruption we see going on in the USA Holder wastes our money tilting at windmills. The administartion swore to up hold the laws of the USA and they merely ignore the ones they don't like then waste the courts time on BS like this. It is hard not to hate, I fight the urge everyday. But this victime mentality is getting old real damn old.

Judge Schroeder wrote a very long, 125-page opinion that quite simply shreds the arguments made by DOJ and the other plaintiffs. They made the same mistake in this case that they made in the Shelby County decision (decided last year by the U.S. Supreme Court) when they unsuccessfully cited old cases in arguing that the North Carolina legislature was acting with the intent to discriminate when it passed the election law.
it ani't over until the supremes look at it ... and it wasn't the US supreme court it was the state supreme court thats ruled on it ...

You damn well know if the judge ruled the other way politicaltouch would be on here hailing the victory. I am thinking that the SCOTUS will rule that states get to decide how their elections are run and the feds have little to say about it, unless there is clear discrimination. There is no clear discrimination according to the experts brought in by Holder. So the ruling by this judge will stand, as it should.

Gosh Rabbi, don't you buy into the left wing democrat mantra that blacks are either too stupid or too lazy to obtain the proper id? Apparently that is what they believe and they believe it is their obligation to take care of the black man. It is 1860 just with a different spin.

yesterday I was coming out of Sprouts and a young guy was pulling up with Andrew romanoff bumper stickers all over his car and I stop him and asked whats it all about.... he said he was a campaign worker for him on the CU college in colorado... so I asked him how was he doing ... he said everyother day they have rallies ... and they were making sure the studens were signed up to vote he said he was signing up atr leas 800 students a day... I would say your thought that they atren't going to vote anyway is a little premature ...

From the article to which I don't believe many on the left apparently even bothered to read:

In three cases filed by the Justice Department, the NAACP, the League of Women Voters, and a host of other liberal advocacy organizations that had been combined into one case, federal district court Judge Thomas Schroeder ruled that the “plaintiffs have not made a clear showing that they are likely to succeed on the merits.”
