NEW DELHI: Playing an aggressive game, India men team defeated France by 2-0 in the first match of the Europe Tour, being played at Le Touquet on Monday. Chinglensana Singh and SV Sunil helped India to dominate through-out the match and kept the European team in pressure. France came back strongly after third quarter but they failed to breach Indian defence-line.

India beat France 4-1 in second match

Dragflicker Gurjinder Singh converted two penalty corners as India continued their winning streak in the Europe tour and defeated hosts France 4-1 in the second match of the trip at the Wattigies Sports Centre, in Wattigies on Wednesday.

Gurjinder (14th minute, 44th) scored twice while Mohammad Amir Khan (30th) and Rupinder Pal Singh (52nd) found the net once for India. For the hosts Baumgarten scored the lone goal in the 21st minute.

India had earlier defeated France 2-0 in their opening match of the tour.
