Let's see, so this is what you believe: The Democrats back during the Civil War were really the Republicans today, the Democrats today were the 1800's Republicans who set the slaves free back then. The Republicans today were the ones who voted against the Civil Rights Act in the 1960's, and it was today's Democrats who got it passed.t. It was really the Democrats who were so adamantly against communism in the 1950's, the Republicans were all communists who loved Russia and spied on this country. The liberal Democrats were all members of the John Birch Society and held meetings in their garages to rid the country of communism. Meanwhile, those commie conservative Republicans all became socialist folk singers and sang songs about big rock candy mountains and sharing the wealth..
