The US has occupied the Al-Tanf base since 2016 and has used it to train and equip various mercenary forces to fight against the Syrian government. The US claims its troops are in Syria to fight ISIS, but according to Russian and Syrian officials, the US has used the Tanf base to train and arm ISIS.
Sunday's attack marks the first time US forces have been killed since the start of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza on 7 October. If every time, some nation lost their soldiers due to US weapon sales or military training from our covert OPS? We'd have war declared on us by half the world.
