Bill, Hillary Clinton to attend Trump Inauguration

Washington (CNN)Former President Bill Clinton and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration later this month, aides to both Clintons told CNN on Tuesday.

Former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush will also attend, the 43rd president's office said in a statement Tuesday.
"President and Mrs. George W. Bush will attend the 58th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony on January 20, 2017, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.," the statement read. "They are pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power -- a hallmark of American democracy -- and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence."
Previously, Jimmy Carter was the only former commander in chief who had publicly said he would attend Trump's inauguration. Bush's father, President George H.W. Bush, will not be attending due to his health, a spokesman has told CNN.

John Lewis stated he hadn't missed an inauguration before. When it's shown that he missed 2000, another protest by him because he doesn't like the results, lefties justify and makes excuses for another Liberal liar.

Perhaps Lewis should spend more time in his district which has 17% poverty and where more than 1 in 5 use food stamps.

An individual white female should walk through some of John Lewis' neighborhoods at night or in the day for that matter with a live video feed. That would take more guts than that lying sack of shit John Lewis could ever imagine having.

But let's never forget, Crooked Hillary has no class. She tried to screw the American people and the Western world actually, with her lies, corruption and deception.

Hillary has class.

She threw a tantrum when she lost, but she has class.
Nobody is allowed to have a cell phone around her during events so they can't record her tantrums, but she has class.
She's been undermining Trump's presidency since he won, but she has class.

I am not at all impressed. I hope that she does not wear that clunky
orange polyester pants suit. I nice dark colored shirtwaist would be nice

Attending a presidential inauguration is not a duty. It is a privilege one may exercise or not. As such, I'm loathe to judge/measure the augustness of attending any president's inauguration.

The Clintons, Bushes, and Obamas know something almost nobody else in the nation--certainly not the Trumps-- knows: the full weight and scope of what it means to be President of the United States. There's a reason for the saying about the weight of the crown; those people know intimately exactly what that saying means in every way it has meaning. It is thus no surprise they will attend this inauguration.

I suspect H.W. and Carter are just too old to want to make the trip and stand in the cold.

I'd say both. It's clear he's a liar having made a false claim as to not having missed an inauguration. To say something that important to him and that big of a deal slipped his mind proves the senility. Saying you forgot about or something like that slipped your mind doesn't come under the same category of remembering what you had for breakfast a week ago. Claiming to forget something like that also proves that his "protest" in 2001 of the Bush inauguration was because he didn't like the result not because he thought something was wrong.
