May we please have the option to designate what our genders are on our profiles?

On some websites people can put a ♂ or a ♀ on their post profiles, or leave it undefined.

If we could have that option, that'd be swell. What do you guys think about that?

I think enough are confused that both might be used - or perhaps some would just alternate daily.

I think you could declare your gender in your profile, just as I have done for over 3 years.

You could easily put something in your user profile-like in your about me or something in your user name, or people can figure it out as they talk to you.
