He actually said at REPUBLICAN GOP - Type Debate (last night) -

1. We should 'possibly' raise the federal minimum wage.

2. Index the federal minimum wage so it goes up every year with inflation.

Crazy or crazy like a Fox.

Let's face it, most of what Ben Carson says about public policy and foreign policy comes off as painfully uniformed opinion bordering on Sarah Palin level stupidity, and it appears that the only time he says something sensible, he's echoing Bernie Sanders.

Fiornia's answer about the "job creators" and getting out of their way was sickening mostly because people are buying that she actually cares about mom and pop small biz startups. She's talking about deregulating big industry and financial services. She doesn't give a flying f about the little local business that is not really effected by Fed banking regs.

The little local business is struggling because the American consumer buys cheap goods made overseas.

The American consumer buys cheap goods made over seas because that's all they can afford on low wages - salaries that have not increased with inflation and cost of living.

Consensus seems to be that Carson is "nice" - I've heard that word several times - but uninformed and certainly not qualified to be president.

Hey Moon Bat.

People on welfare or people that are making minimum wages are not the job creators. The job creators are the ones that accumulate capital and then invest it.

Running up minimal wage by government interference just increases the cost of goods and services that employ minimal wage earners, robbing the productive economy.

The government should never be in the business of dictating wages.

Simple economics that Moon Bats always fail to understand.

By the way, family income has decreased because the cost of government is draining the productive economy. The combined cost of government now (Fed, State and Local) is about 40% of the GNP. How can any family in this country get ahead when so much of their money is being stolen from them?

The job creators are the middle class workers who create demand.

Labor always comes before money, always.

so he has your support right leftard?

who created the demand for jobs for workers that then worked at them until they became middle class and created demand for goods and services????

Nice??? He's admitted to attempted murder of a friend when he was a teenager and also admitted he used a hammer to attack his mother. He's a violent.nutcase. Do some research for once and maybe you won't make a fool of yourself.

Forty years ago, nutcase. You were dangeorus when you were younger, shootspeeders, and you are dangerous now. You are not fooling anyone.

Incorrect Poindexter.

Labor only happens when the upper class monied people invest their capital into production, materials, facilities, and distribution.

Otherwise, middle class labor is just a hobby. .......

The so called job creators you love so much, accumulate capital overseas while creating jobs in low wage countries But, by all means, keep defending and sucking up to them, but don't expect that trickle down effect you've been promised to get here anytime soon.

still can't shake off those racist roots of democrats can ya

Yep, still waiting for the Black people to vote for you republicans. Those ungrateful and stupid Blacks still stay on the democrat plantation, not realizing that republicans are their good buddies.

Back to the object of thread, Brer Carson, aka Uncle Ben. He sides with republicans, chastizes mostly black people that get on government assistance. He forgets that his mom received government help including food stamps. Help she never would have received if most republicans had had their way.
