Trump has a significant number of dedicated conservatives who will do anything to stop him from gaining the White House. These include Romney, Kristol, Graham, and many more. They are determine to keep Donald out of the WH.

I heard Kristol interviewed this morning on Morning Joe. He said a Trump Presidency would damage the GOP for the next generation. But probably the biggest problem with Donald being in the WH is, he will redefine Conservatism into something that is unrecognizable. I think his statements over the last few days when he was willing to look at an increase in the minimum wage and his flip flopping on tax increases for the wealthy should give everyone a good indication of his unreliability on conservative principles.

There is one thing that will push Kristol, Romney and their supporter to put a third party candidate up. That would be if Trump begins to move up in the polls. A recently release poll had him within 5% of Clinton nationally. Kristol says there is financing for a third party run and people are working to that end.

Consequently, Trump cannot win because if he gets too close to Clinton, I see Kristol and his people running a true conservative. A conservative third party candidate would doom Trump. Even without a third party challenge, Donald has a monumental task to gain acceptance from Hispanics, blacks, and women.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph. ANOTHER Trump is defeated thread? They need a separate forum for you dimwits to masturbate in. Recent national polling has them even within a margin of error so Trump is picking up steam. I guess he didn't get the memo.

A conservative third party if organized far earlier may have been able to throw the election into the House.

Now a third party conservative effort dooms Trump and guarantees his own third party organization next year.

Isn't is sad to see our own fellow countrymen and women would support such a person and party over what's in ALL our BEST INTEREST .

you know that saying; party over country?

As pointed out by Ben Shapiro in various forums (fora?), Trump exemplifies every negative stereotype that the Left and the MSM have been dumping on Conservatives for the past generation. The MSM/Left portrays Conservatives as xenophobic, bigoted, racist, misogynist, and anti-scientific. Trump is all of these, IN SPADES! Principled Conservatives will not only not support Trump, but will reject him loudly and emphatically, along with everything he "stands for."

But to the point of this thread, Trump will lose because:
  • He will get fewer Republicans than Romney got (because he is neither Republican nor conservative),
  • He will get fewer women than Romney got (for obvious reasons),
  • He will get fewer Hispanics than Romney got (for obvious reasons), and
  • He will get fewer Blacks than Romney got.
He will, however, get more working-class White men than Romney could ever dream of getting, so it will be a solid defeat, but not a landslide.

The women will turn it into a landslide for HRC and victory for the Dems.

The old fool's daily anti Trump rant.....yawn
Trump is not anything near what is best.

Kasich could have been.
Kasich is a big government statist warmonger...no wonder you like him.

And Trump isn't? Have you listened to his statements on Debt? He will be a Debt Hog! "You print your own money."
There is no doubt Trump is bad, but not nearly as bad as Kasich or your beloved Hillary. Both are warmongering, statist, welfare loving jackasses. Trump maybe too, but with him at least there is a chance he won't be. There is no chance with Cankles...NONE.
